Links: Pinned links#357

Just like the Chrome Tab and Apps icon, I would love it if I could pin a couple of Links to the main page. Preferably (since this is one of my biggest frustrations with any New Tab extension) with customizable favicons so I can have nice icons for my pinned bookmarks/links.

Pinned links have been added as part of our Links v2 launch:

🚀 Links v2

We have completely rewritten the Links app. This enables us to build new features faster and also for the app to work better and more reliably. We also gave Links a bit of a visual refresh, and added some new features while we were at it. Overall, Links now has a smoother, nicer, more consistent experience!

The updates to Links v2 include:

• Tile links: Show links as bigger items with an icon and label or tile.

• Pinned links: Pin links directly to the dashboard to streamline your workflow. Works for both list links and tile links.

• Links v2 is currently available to Plus users while we work out any kinks. When we’re sure there will be no problems in the transition, we’ll roll out it out to the entire user base.

• PS: Our new drag to reorder is super smooth. Try drag to reorder in tile mode for extra oohs and aahs.
